Corn gluten powder is a by-product of corn grains purified by starch production in food industry or brewing industry. It has high feeding value, does not contain toxic and harmful substances, does not need to be reprocessed, and can be directly used as protein raw materials.Corn gluten powder contains more than 60% protein. Its protein content is 21% and 3.7% higher than that of soybean cake and fish meal, respectively. It is a high protein feed material, and its crude fiber content is 3.9% lower than that of soybean cake.After the formulated feed, the high fat content of the diet is beneficial to reduce the oxidation of amino acids and generate more body protein, and also inhibit the conversion of glucose and other precursors to fat.Under high temperature conditions, it is also conducive to energy intake, reducing the body heat consumption of livestock and poultry, and alleviating heat stress.Ethanol enhanced corn gluten meal is a by-product of brewing industry. Its protein content is low and crude fiber content is high, and its nutritional value is not as high as that of medical corn gluten meal. However, because of unknown growth factors, it can significantly improve the performance of animals when added to the ration.
The corn gluten meal contains 7%~8% citric acid, which has a good growth promoting effect.
